Ore carrier Vale Rio de Janeiro is featured on Dutch TV channel
The arrival of Vale Rio de Janeiro at the port of Rotterdam, Netherlands, was featured on the Dutch channel RTL 4. This is the number one national TV channel in the country, which reaches an average of 1.5 million people. The story was broadcast on prime-time. It shows in an instructive way the dimensions of the vessel, which has a capacity of 400,000 tons of ore.
Vale Rio de Janeiro is one of 19 Valemax vessels, the largest ore carriers in the world, ordered to shipyards in China and South Korea.
