With five mines, a mill, a smelter, a refinery and nearly 4,000 employees it is also one of the largest integrated mining complexes in the world. Our products include nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum group metals, gold and silver.

Vale’s Sudbury operations are internationally recognized for our regreening and reclamation efforts. Historically stressed lands and waterways are transforming back to their natural state.

Living with Lakes
We also contributed to the construction and expansion of Laurentian University’s innovative freshwater research centre, located right here in our “City of Lakes.”
