Dams, Reparation

Vale has received 117 registrations regarding the R$50,000 donation

The company also maintains the registrations and payments of the R$100,000 donations

Vale has received a total of 117 registrations until last Tuesday, 12/2/19, for the donation destined to those who resided at properties in the Self-Rescue Zone (ZAS), Dam 1, in Brumadinho, on the date of the breach. The process for registration assessment and payment may take about 7 days.

In regards to the R$100,000 donations for the representatives of Vale and third party employees, and also deceased or uncontacted people from the community - as per the official list of the Civil Defense -, 253 relatives have already received it.

The R$15,000 donation is temporarily suspended until Vale and the relevant agencies review the documentation required for this process. This donation is destined to those who carried out productive or commercial activities in the ZAS.

It is important to highlight that the financial aid is a donation. It is not a compensation. Another important information is that there is no deadline for the registrations that will continue to be done at the Knowledge Center in Brumadinho.
