Vale prohibits statements
Vale does not recognize the statements made to the media by lawyer, Sergio Bermudes, and states that its directive does not authorize him to make any statements regarding Vale, either on behalf of the company or to express his personal opinion on the subject of the dam breach in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Vale emphasizes, emphatically, that it will continue to contribute to the investigations to determine the facts and this is the focus of its Executive Board, along with its unconditional support to the affected families. Vale reiterates its commitment to fully repair the impacts resulting from the breach.
