Since the collapse of Dam I at the Córrego do Feijão mine in Brumadinho, Vale has been carrying out emergency work to contain and remove the tailings, and to clean up and restore the Ferro-Carvão stream and a stretch of the Paraopeba River.
In order to provide greater transparency to all the work being carried out, Vale has implemented a Plan for Monitoring the Emergency Works. The monitoring actions are carried out 24 hours a day and the data, such as rainfall, water turbidity and watercourse flow, can be checked online at the links below.
