As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, Vale in Malaysia, in partnership with the Perak Department of Environment (DOE), proudly hosted a vibrant coloring competition during the Hari Alam Sekitar Negara (HASN) Perak 2024 celebration. The event brought together 60 young talents from the Manjung community, divided into three age categories: 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10-12 years. Many of the participants were students from Vale’s Tunas Seni program, a platform dedicated to nurturing artistic expression among children.  
 

Focusing on critical environmental themes such as reducing single-use plastics, preventing open burning, and managing e-waste, the competition served as an engaging platform to instill environmental awareness in the younger generation. Through their creative artwork, participants not only showcased their talents but also expressed their understanding of the importance of safeguarding our planet.  

The event received overwhelming support and positive feedback from the Manjung community, further cementing the strong bond between Vale and local stakeholders. Heartfelt congratulations to the winners and sincere gratitude to all the students, teachers, and parents who participated in making this event a success.
