By the land or by the sea, we seek an increasingly safe and sustainable path.
We created a logistics network that is part of mines, railroads, ships and ports, ensuring agility and efficiency during transportation. In addition to our products, we carry cargo to third parties and offer two passenger train lines in Brazil.

We are present in about 2,000 kilometers of railroad network in Brazil with an average of x trips per month.
The passenger train makes our direct connection with the communities We received 1.3 million passengers annually on the Vitória-Minas Railroad and the Carajás Railroad.

Load transported:
Iron ore from Vale and General Cargo for third parties (coal and agricultural products).
Main connected points: Iron ore operations from the inland of Minas Gerais to the Port of Tubarão, in Espírito Santo.
Passenger train: With about 1 million passengers annually, the trains depart daily from Cariacica, in Vitória (ES), bound for Belo Horizonte (MG) and on the route back to Cariacica. An additional train assists in the course between Itabira and Nova Era, in Minas Gerais.

Extension: 972 kilometers
Load transported: Iron ore, pig iron, manganese, copper, fuels and coal.
Main connected points: Mines of Carajás, in Pará, to the Maritime Terminal of Ponta da Madeira, in Maranhão.
Passenger Train: Every Monday, Thursdays and Saturdays we take passengers on a trip between São Luís (MA) and Paraupebas (PA), through 25 locations between villages and municipalities of the stretch in question. By year, about 350,000 people use the railroad as a means of transport.

Occupies an area of 18 km2 in Vitória, with four maritime terminals: Iron ore; Praia Mole, Miscellaneous Products and Bulk Liquids. We use them to transport iron ore and pellets; coal, grains and fertilizers and bulk liquids.

Located near the Port of Itaqui, in Maranhão, this port accommodates up to five ships. We mainly use it to transport iron ore, manganese and copper concentrate.

Located in the Port of Sepetiba, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, it is operated by its own subsidiary, Companhia Portuária Baía de Sepetiba (CPBS). We use it to transport iron ore.

Located on Ilha Guaíba, in Sepetiba Bay, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, we use it to transport iron ore.

Sohar Port
Sohar Port
Located in Oman, on the Gulf of Oman, the port of Sohar has an ore terminal built exclusively for our operations. This port is capable of receiving VLOC (Very Large Ore Carrier) type vessels. From there, iron ore can be distributed in smaller ships to nearby regions.
Teluk Rubiah Terminal
Teluk Rubiah Terminal
Operating since November 2014, the terminal is located in the state of Perak, Malaysia. Here we have a deep water port and five stock facilities, where different types of iron ore can be mixed and customized. We also have an import berth capable of unloading ships of up to 400,000 tons and an export berth capable of loading Capesize ships.

Balantang Special Port
The port is located in Balantang Village, South Sulawesi and here we operate a dry bulk barge slider and general cargo pier.
Tanjung Mangkasa
Tanjung Mangkasa
Located in Haparan Tanjung Mangkasa Village, South Sulawesi, this is a special port with mooring buoys to accommodate ships and also a terminal that can receive tankers.
Ships
To ensure logistical efficiency, we operate large ships, ensuring cost-saving, agility and sustainability in the transport of ore. Our fleet also has chartered vessels to serve the market around the world on equal terms.

These ships are considered the largest and most efficient ore carriers in the world as they emit up to 41% less greenhouse gases and transport 2.3 times more than Capesize, the standard freighter.
VLOC
VLOC
With the growth of Chinese demand in the 2000s, the need arose for the use of very large ships, the Very Large Ore Carriers. These vessels with a capacity of 375,000 tons mainly travel between Brazil, where our main operations are located, and Asia..
Capesize
Capesize
With a capacity of 170,000 tons, these ships were named for being too large to cross the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal. Therefore, to cross the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, they had to cross the Cape of Good Hope or Cape Horn.
